Designed to dispense
viscous materials fed from cartridges or pumps. The TS941 Spool Valve is
a spool design for a fast “ON/OFF” dispensing action unaffected by
material input pressure, and is ideal for material with a viscosity
between 5000 to 3,000,000 CPS at pressures of up to 2,500 psi. The
hardened spool slides in Teflon seals and displaces a portion of the
material back into the nozzle during shut off, creating an accurate
“suck-back”anti-drip action. An oil chamber creates an additional
liquid seal that prevents inadvertent moisture from entering the spool
mechanism. The valve design facilitates easy maintenance without the
need for special tools. The valve is opened by applying air pressure and
closed via a return spring (single acting). A port is provided so that
the valve may be connected for air closing without the spring (double
acting). All side ports can be rotated in 120 or 90-degree increments to
accommodate multiple valve connections.
Recommended digital timed controllers for
these valves are the TS250,
TS350 and TS500R.
Typical
applications for this valve include edge sealing using silicones and
sealants, filling and packaging, automated paste dosing.
Adhesive Dispensing Ltd provide a wide range of equipment options for dispensing almost all
assembly fluids - from watery liquids, solvents, primers and activators
through to thick pastes, sealants, silicones, gels and epoxies.
Automatic suck back after each dispense cycle
Handles higher fluid pressure than other valves
High output and flow rate
Suitable with moisture sensitive materials
Suitable with UV adhesives
Low maintenance
Typical materials
dispensed from these valves include sealants, silicones, mastics, RTVs,
pastes, gels, lubricants, flavourings, UV cure gels, fluxes, solder
masks and greases.
