Two part epoxies, sealants, compounds and silicones can be
packaged to any mix ratio inside a Techkit cartridge up to 590cc.
The Techkit is a complete, multi-component plastic cartridge assembly
which stores, mixes and applies multiple part adhesives, sealants and
other materials. Techkit packages are ideal for epoxies,
polysulphides, polyurethanes and silicones used in aerospace,
electronics, automotive, construction, marine and telecommunications
industries.
The system provides accurate proportioning of the materials
as the pre-measured components are stored in separate
compartments within the cartridge. This eliminates the
time consuming tasks of measuring and handling materials
whilst eliminating skin contact and harmful fumes. All
the material contained inside the Techkit cartridge and can
be dispensed with zero waste. The Techkit adds value
to any mix and dispense application by eliminating material
exposure and contamination, substantially reducing waste and
guaranteeing the correct ratio of each material is used.
The two types of Techkit available are barrier style and
injection style. Injection kits are generally used with mix ratios
of 10:1 or higher. In this kit, the base material is stored within
the cartridge with the catalyst stored inside the injection rod.
Barrier kits are generally used with mix ratios of 1:1 to 10:1.
Both materials are kept in the cartridge and separated by a foil barrier.
Operators can mix the kit manually, semi-automatically or
automatically using Techkit mixing equipment. The
injection rod is then quickly removed and a nozzle attached,
then placed in a manual or pneumatic dispensing
gun.
After application, the nozzle and kit are disposable,
reducing labour and production costs. The Techkit
cartridge system mixes a wide range of materials with
varying viscosities without mess, waste or contamination.
No special storage is required. Each kit is packaged
with a printed safety label, shelf life, special
instructions, batch code and date of fill. All kits
feature a 1/4" NPT threaded outlet to accept a wide range of
dispensing
nozzles or needle
tips when used with a needle
adapter.
